waynesutton this is bad and just last week I was told Amazon S3 never goes down.
technosailor Another example of shitty designed apps. Where's the failover? App devs using S3 should know better than not having a failover - even at 5 9's. Single point of failure = BAD. Who funds that shit? ;)
kshep Akamai, Limelight, EdgeCast and the other CDNs really couldn't ask for better advertising, could they? I wonder if they'll finally roll out low-end offerings in the S3-style space?
